Chuck has been locating and calling Maine turkeys for over twenty years. He knows the terrain, the seasonal patterns, and — most importantly — how to read a bird. Whether you've never pulled a trigger or you've been hunting turkeys your whole life, he'll put you in position and give you a real shot at success.
The Hunt
What a Guided Turkey Hunt Looks Like.
You'll meet Chuck before first light. He'll have already scouted the area — he knows where the birds roosted the night before and where they'll want to go at first light. That pre-dawn work is what separates a good hunt from a great one.
Once you're set up, Chuck does the calling. He's been doing this long enough to know when to push and when to go quiet. He reads the bird's response and adjusts. Your job is to stay still, stay patient, and be ready.
Spring turkey season in Maine runs from early May through late May. Hunts are conducted on private land and public land with proper access. All necessary licenses and permits are the hunter's responsibility — Chuck will walk you through exactly what you need.

Never hunted turkey before? No problem. Chuck will cover firearm safety, shot placement, setup fundamentals, and what to expect from the bird. You'll leave knowing how to do this on your own.
You've been out before but haven't closed the deal. Chuck will help you understand what went wrong and how to fix it — calling sequences, setup angles, reading bird behavior.
You know what you're doing but want access to better ground and a guide who's worked it for decades. Chuck puts you on birds in places you wouldn't find on your own.
